Stepping Out

66_020509_bigfeet_main.jpg.CROP.original-originalOn occasion, astute M’habiller insiders will recommend style topics. In response to their suggestion, this week post focuses on extended shoe sizes.  Similar to an earlier blog post entitled Over the Heel, finding stylish shoes size 12 and up can be a challenge even more so if you have a penchant for designer shoes. But not to worry, I found some wonderful sites and designers who offer an array of stylish steppers for the high end diva who don’t mind investing a tidy sum into her shoe game. For instance, the Christian Louboutin’s Apostrophy Pump,Valentino Rockstud’s Flat, and Jimmy Choo Romy’s  Pump are all available in size 12. For the diva ballin on a budget, consider the Sam Edelman Eleanor Sandal and the Peep Toe Pump by Shoes of Prey which extends to size 15.  And finally for the diva whose spending limit tops out at $100.00 bucks, in lieu of walking around bare foot, consider longtallsally.com BFT Topaz Asymmetrical Heel, and the LTS Cyprus D’orsay Flat along with other cute shoes which also extends to size 15.  Online sites to check out: simplybe.com, alloyapparel.com and Nordstrom.com.

One more thing, take special notice of ShoesofPrey.com much like Eshakti (refer to post Almost Doesn’t Count), Shoes of Prey offers design and customization options for extended sizes and width. But a word to the wise when ordering shoes online, it’s imperative to know your true size and width. Real talk, wearing ill-fitting shoes makes for a bad investment no matter how high you buy or how low you go but wearing the right shoes makes every time the right time for stepping out.
