So I’m having dinner with a friend (Pre-Covid)when out of nowhere, I was approached by a really good looking guy. After complementing my outfit, he went on to say that there was nothing sexier on a woman than a pullover sweater, a pair of jeans, and boots. Flattered by such an enormous complement, I thanked him while sporting the biggest most ridiculous Kool-Aid grin ever. So in honor of that fond memory, this week post focuses on the ever versatile fabric known as denim. You can find denim in just about every type of apparel from outerwear to footwear and, it’s a great way to fill your wardrobe with those “go to” pieces I keep yapping about. Created by Levi Strauss and Jacob W. Davis back in the 1800’s, the blue jean was initially purposed as a work pant for folks working on farms and in factories because of the durability of the fabric. But after 200 years, the modern day blue jean offers an array of cuts, shapes, prices, and sizes from premium and discounted retailers alike. So on your next shopping project consider acquiring some stylish denim. I can’t guarantee you’ll be approached by some rando hot dude, but I can testify that a lady is sexiest when her style, confidence, and love of self shines through whether she’s in or out of her blues.
