What does Rockfest, Metalfest, Jazzfest, and Soulfest all have in common? But with the onset of music festivals like Coachella, the mode of dress now reflects the atmosphere, purpose, and theme of the event. For example the Afropunk music and arts festival  started in Brooklyn, was initially about a community of young African Americans expressing  mad love for the punk music scene and subculture. Since then, it’s evolved into a movement to include all kinds of music but yields a very distinctive look then that of their European counterparts. So whether you prefer the chic Au Naturel bohemian look of Coachella or the Avant-garde beauty of Afropunk or anything inside, outside, or in between the two.
