Clearly, this week post is not about my burgeoning rap career but about the very timeless, the ever stylish, and the very functional wrap dress made famous by the fabulous Diane Von Furstenberg in 1974. The wrap dress is still one of the most popular staples in women apparel. Because of the design, it’s literally one of the few garments that is universally flattering on every-body. Similar to the bodycon dress, wrap dresses accentuate curves but doesn’t require a support garment, is typically made from breathable fabrics, and is fitted above yet flares below the waist which flows on the body naturally and comfortably. Not to be outdone, wrap shirts and skirts are equally figure flattering. So to the divas who prefer to focus on lasting style rather than trend, I highly suggest you wrap it up.
